AYURVEDA ::

DHARA

AYURVEDA is the most ancient Indian system of medicine popularized in Kerala and it has gained universal acceptance for its curative powers and ability to maintain optimum physical, mental and spiritual health for a complete span of life.

PANCHAKARMA is the five fold purification therapy given to the patients. Vasthy - special Enema Therapy, Virechanam - Purgation therapy, Vamanam - Vomiting treatment, Rakta Moksha - Blood letting process, Nasyam - Nasal infusion Therapy. In this treatment waste materials deposited during metabolic activities and toxic elements accumulated through food materials are eliminated from the body.

PIZHICHAL is a popular treatment in Ayurveda where selected medicated oil is poured over the body during the massage. Navarakkizhi is a method where the body is massaged gently with Navara rice, cooked well in milk and herbal decoction in treatments for wasting of muscles, nervous weakness, Rhuematic disease etc. Udwarthanam is a massage by using herbal powders for treatment of obesity, vitiated "Kapha Doshas" etc. which improves blood circulations of muscles.

SIDDHA ::
SIDDHA is a Tamil traditional system of medicine which gives very good and permanent relief to the patients who are having Various problems. Siddha is another form of ancient Indian medicine very popular in the Southern parts of India. Siddhi in Tamil, a South Indian language, means perfection. And those who have attained an intellectual level of perfection are called Siddhas.

The Siddha system of medicine, was written in different periods by different Siddhas. The diagnosis is based on findings from eight aspects; pulse, eyes, voice, touch, colour, tongue, faeces and urine. Siddhas have developed a longevity discipline called "Kayakalpa". Controlling the breathing and diet are methods suggested in this system. Meditation and Yoga are also significant aspects of the Siddha system.
